Days Three & Four - Ashford Castle


​I must apologize in advance for what will be a lot of redundant photos:

  • Lots of pictures of the castle because it was really cool.
  • Lots of pictures of Cronan and Garvan the Irish Wolfhounds, because they are HUGE.
  • Lots of photos of our "Hawk Walk," because when do you get to do that? 

We rode horses in pouring rain, but we didn't care (cameras care about rain, so no photos of the horseback ride).

We watched movies at the indoor theater and had treats delivered from the kitchen and bar.

We had a wonderful time!
Cronan & Garvan, the friendly Irish Wolfhounds of Ashford Castle.
​They are known for loving affection and occasionally running off to kill a deer during their morning walk.

​Ashford Castle is home to Ireland's School of Falconry.
​It is home to several hawks and an owl or two that we were able to enjoy on an afternoon Hawk Walk.
