Corinth & Athens
We started this day by leaving that cursed ship. We stopped at the Corinth Canal on our way to Corinth. This artificial canal connects the Gulf of Corinth in the Ionian Sea with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. We then visited Corinth, the city that Paul lived in for 18 months and the inspiration for many of his most familiar Letters. We spent time at the Archeological Museum, Marketplace and Temples, celebrating Mass in the midst of the ruins of the Church of Corinth. We returned to Athens that evening. |
